Training Project T3: State of the Science Conference on Secondary Conditions in the Rehabilitation of Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury
A two-day, fully accessible conference will convene during the third project year, bringing together an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, consumers, disability advocates, educators and policy-makers to discuss and report the state-of-the-science on secondary conditions in the rehabilitation of individuals with SCI, including preliminary findings from the proposed research studies (R1,R2,R3). Conference proceedings will be available through a live webcast and conference outputs will be published subsequently in a report to be made available online, an interactive DVD, and a peer-reviewed manuscript focusing on either cardiometabolic syndrome, obesity or PUs.
