Emergency preparedness needs often go unrealized until an actual event occurs. Having an emergency plan can save your life! Obviously, every emergency event cannot be planned for nor should you live your life stressing about every potential situation. However, you may rest easier with just a few simple easily executed plans in case of emergency. In our January web survey, RRTC asked questions about emergency preparedness and one-third of the participants did not have an exit strategy in case of emergency. Below we have summarized our survey results. You may find some beneficial information to get you started on your emergency preparedness plan.
